The automated DiversiLab system provides high performance  genotypic characterization of bacteria, yeast and mold. It can perform same day strain typing for real time investigations.

High quality strain typing

Using PCR technology, DiversiLab enables you to quickly differentiate microbial isolates at a subspecies and strain level in case of contamination. Strain typing is suited to track the source of an exact contaminant.

Standardized and automated strain typing

DiversiLab performs the following steps to generate unique fingerprints for all your microbial samples.

  1. DNA extraction : Extract DNA from isolated cultures
  2. Rep-PCR amplification : Amplify samples using rep-PCR and the appropriate DiversiLab DNA fingerprinting Kits
  3. Detection : Separate fragments via electrophoresis performed in a microfluidics DNA LabChip
  4. Data analysis : analyze data in real time with reports accessible via an individually secured website
